💫 Soul Coaching: Day 23
Taking care of our physical bodies is the theme of today, cleansing, making good choices for our health. At Level 1, we did something to exfoliate our skin, such as dry brushing, before bathing. At Level 2, we were mindful of our food choices, asking if each item was cleansing or clogging our system. And, finally, at Level 3, we did something to aid in the elimination of accumulated toxins within our body, such as scheduling a colonic.
I have a dry brush and did some more unpacking today to try to find it, but no luck. I do have a loofah, which helps, but I know a dry brush would help even more. So, I'll continue to look for that. As for eating mindfully, I usually have a protein shake for breakfast and add carrot, kale, and other greens, chia seeds, ground flaxseed, and psyllium husk to it. Today, I even left out the sweetener, which made it far less palatable, but I felt like a champ when I drank the last gulp. After the gym, I opted for a salad with lots of veggies. That was so satiating! I felt so proud of myself, even asking the gentleman preparing it specific questions about the ingredients. He was so kind and went out of his way to accommodate my special requests. I went to the gym for the 2nd day in a row. Feeling fit and full of vitality! I also do oil pulling every morning, use an essential oil blend as perfume, use lower toxicity makeup, aluminum-free deodorant, fluoride-free toothpaste, and less toxic/ more natural shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and cleaning products. I'm not perfect about it, but I have to do my best for my sensitive system! For Playing Full Out, I think I'll do a salt water cleanse. How was your day? See you tomorrow! xo Rachael
