In times of grief and sorrow, it's important to allow yourself the time and space to process in whatever way you need. Be present as much as you can, try not to resist, treat yourself with gentleness and care, and seek support and connection. It can be therapeutic to look back at your time with whom or what you've lost and treasure the memories, milestones, and celebrate your life together. The pain of loss can seem manageable one minute and suddenly well up inside, brought on by a memory or other trigger. Be extremely patient with yourself and take care not to neglect your needs. And there's no need to go it alone. Reach out for support. There are resources available, such as support groups, hotlines, grief counseling, energy healing, even trusted loved ones can provide tremendous support.
