🛐 Centering Tools

If you're feeling scattered, frazzled, tense, or anxious, try centering your energy. This occurs in your mind, of course, but there are some tools that really help you achieve this state and give you the ability to feel and memorize the sensation so that you are able to get back there on your own. There are many ways to do so, but here are 3 quick ways to center yourself. ⭐ The Anjali Mudra quickly aligns your energy. Try placing your hands in the prayer position in front of your chest and feel how it brings scattered energy inward and aligns it. While this Mudra is generally used to show reverence, it is also one of the quickest ways to center. *The image of the Anjali Mudra is from the Mudras for Awakening the Energy Body Card Deck by Alison DeNicola and Sabina Espinet. ⭐ Hold Chalcedony in your receptive hand and focus on centering. The calming influence of this stone brings harmony and allows you to easily come back to center. *Pictured is a piece of Druzy Chalcedony that I fell in love with at a crystal shop at St. Mark's Place in NYC. I saw the little being in it and felt magnetized to it. The Druze brings in the added bonus of light and joy, as well as a boost to harmonizing my space and subtle bodies! ⭐ I love the use of sound to center and harmonize my sensitive system. Mindfulness work is enhance by focusing on the beautiful humming sound of this weighted tuning fork that I purchased atbiosonics.com. The Otto 128 pictured here can be gently tapped on your knee to strike and may be directly applied to points on your body to stimulate the relaxation response, ease away tension and pain, and improve circulation. For centering, I strike it and put it to each ear, alternating because I only have one at this time. If you have two, you can strike both and place one at each ear as the buzzing sound centers your energy and soothes your mental/emotional state. These are just three ways to center your energy. What are some of your favorite ways to center your scattered, frazzled state? xo Rachael
